ITS World Congress 2010 in BusanThe 17th ITS World Congress will take place in Busan, Korea, from 25-29 October 2010. This year´s topic is "Ubiquitous Society with ITS". COOPERS will take part with a presentation and also with a workshop. 
Cooperative Mobility ShowcaseIn the world’s first and largest event centred on cooperative mobility systems and services, the final results of the EU-supported R&D projects CVIS, SAFESPOT and COOPERS will be presented during the Cooperative Mobility Showcase 2010, held in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, from 23-26 March 2010.
Simulator studies concludedAs a complementary study to the field tests, and to obtain information that otherwise could not be obtained (e.g. reaction on wrong-way drivers), a driving simulator study was designed. The study was carried out at VTI using 48 Swedish test drivers, 24 men and 24 women. The drivers had to drive 40 km Swedish motorway without, and 40 km with the COOPERS system, while being exposed to some critical, and some not so critical events. COOPERS @ Demonstration sitesThe COOPERS system has been demonstrated along some heavily used sections of European motorways. Four different demonstration sites have been equipped with COOPERS equipment using different communication media, and extensive field tests were carried out from January to June 2010. [read more...]
COOPERS @ 16th ITS WORLD CONGRESS 2009 in StockholmThis year’s motto “ITS in daily life” made the all-day-advantages of Telematics systems and services visible. COOPERS was very active at the 16th congress on Intelligent Transport Systems and COOPERS partners used the possibility of discussing current research results and upcoming activities.
A milestone was the presentation of the first public test drive of the COOPERS-project. COOPERS demonstrated visitors the transmission of real-time and locations-based information into a vehicle by using car-to-car and car-to-infrastructure-communication.

COOPERS-Presentation at the EU minister´s of transport meetingOn the 29th of April AustriaTech presented a test vehicle of the COOPERS project at the informel EU minister´s of transport meeting in Litomirce, Czech Republic. The COOPERS test car was showcased in a tent in front of the conference building and for the visitors the complete system were showed and demonstrated via video sequences.
15th World Congress on ITSCOOPERS was very active at the 15th World Congress on Intelligent Transport Systems taking place in New York. Presentations about the COOPERS approach as well as last achievements have been given.
IFA - official Kick-Off of COOPERS DemonstrationSafety, comfort and user-friendliness are important factors of future integrated in vehicle safety systems. The first COOPERS equipped car with the most advanced in vehicle communication system for foresight driving will be presented at the IFA 2008 (world’s leading consumer electronics trade show) in Berlin.
